Special Events Ministry

 

A.  Goal:                      This ministry is committed to the planning of  

                                    activities that involve the entire congregation.

 

B.  Responsibilities:     It is this ministryÕs overall responsibility to plan and promote special events that will help the church be more aware of what is happening outside of the local church, and to create meaningful fellowship opportunities within the church family.

 

1.      Schedule outside groups and individuals for special services not to exceed two special services per year.

                 

2.            Promote area events (at Little Galilee, Lincoln Christian College, or area churches) that will benefit the ministry.

 

3.      Plan and promote the following annual events:

Agape Banquet (February)

Birthday Party (March)

Harvest Dinner (November)

 

4.      Create new opportunities for developing fellowship opportunities within the whole church family:  Parent/child events, all church cookout, sporting events, etc.
